Trump says US military will strike Iran 'hard' tonight, US attacks on Iran could last 2-3 weeks

US Central Command (CENTCOM) announced early Tuesday morning that it had "completed the latest wave of strikes against Iran," targeting coastal defense systems, missile and drone sites, and maritime capabilities in various locations including Bushehr and Bandar Abbas. This followed President Donald Trump's vow on Monday evening to "hit Iran hard tonight and tomorrow," stating, "We're going to hit them very hard tonight, and we're going to hit them hard tomorrow. And there's not a damn thing they can do about it." CENTCOM confirmed launching a third consecutive night of strikes, which included using unmanned surface vessels to strike a submarine and ship maintenance facility at Bandar Abbas Naval Base.
