A key topic of discussion is expected to be the Haredi draft into the IDF, with some delegates aiming to pressure Trump and Israeli decision-makers to support military service exemptions for yeshiva students. Grand Rebbe of Satmar, Rabbi Aron Teitelbaum, stated his intention to appeal to the president because "tens of thousands of Jews in Eretz Yisroel are in distress because of the decree to draft yeshiva students."
