Turkish FM calls Netanyahu 'enemy of humanity,' claims Mecca agreement not directed at any country

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated on Monday that the Mecca Joint Defense Agreement, signed by Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, is not aimed at any specific country. He asserted that the pact, signed on August 7 in Mecca, is based on defense principles, complements NATO, and will foster regional stability. Fidan also claimed that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is "an enemy of security and humanity" and has "committed the crime of genocide," urging the international community to "fight against the Netanyahu threat." The agreement's member states are considering establishing a reciprocal alliance open to expansion, with a roadmap being developed for other countries to join.
