Turpaz CEO donates NIS 70 million to three of Israel’s leading hospitals

Karen Cohen Khazon, CEO of Turpaz Industries, and her husband, Shay Khazon, donated company shares worth approximately NIS 70 million to three major Israeli hospitals: Sheba Medical Center, Rabin Medical Center-Beilinson Hospital, and Soroka Medical Center. The donation, announced in July 2025, comprised 1% of Turpaz Industries shares from their personal holdings. Sheba Medical Center held an appreciation ceremony and inaugurated its Institute for Obstetric and Gynecologic Imaging in memory of Cohen Khazon's late parents, Nediva and Moshe Cohen. Similar events were held at Soroka and Beilinson to acknowledge the contribution.

• At Beilinson, the funds are designated for the development of its Cardiology Center and the expansion of the Cardiac Intensive Care Unit, aiming to increase treatment capacity and introduce advanced technologies.
• For Soroka Medical Center, which sustained damage during Operation Rising Lion, the donation will help restore and upgrade infrastructure, reinforce critical departments, and purchase equipment for emergency and trauma units.

Cohen Khazon stated, "I felt that this was the right time to translate business success into a positive social impact," dedicating the donation to her parents who instilled in her values of generosity and civic responsibility.
