Two IDF soldiers killed, four seriously injured in southern Lebanon

Two IDF soldiers, Major (Res.) Harel Birkenstock, 34, and Chief Master Sergeant (Res.) Tamir Vaknin, 33, were killed in southern Lebanon on Wednesday, the army announced Thursday. Four other reservists were severely injured in the same incident. The IDF stated it had conducted strikes against Hezbollah targets on Wednesday and early Thursday morning in response to ceasefire violations by the terror group.
