Two-thirds of US Jewish voters to favor Democrats in November elections, poll shows

A recent poll indicates that two-thirds of Jewish voters in the US plan to support Democrats in the upcoming November midterm elections, despite internal party tensions regarding Israel. The Jewish Voters Resource Center poll found 67% of respondents intend to vote for Democratic congressional candidates, while 26% favor Republicans. Key issues for Jewish voters include affordability, the future of democracy, and antisemitism, which ranked third. Israel ranked fifth among important issues. Former President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance received high unfavorability ratings of 75 and 82 out of 100, respectively. This trend of Jewish voters favoring Democrats by a two-thirds majority has been consistent since the 1930s. The survey, conducted by GBAO Strategies, polled 800 Jewish voters via text from August 26 to September 1, with a 3.5% margin of error.
