Typhoon Dolphin made landfall in Zhejiang province on Sunday evening, bringing torrential rain and severe flooding to eastern China, including Shanghai. The storm, which weakened to a tropical storm after landfall, caused widespread disruption, with Shanghai's two airports canceling 943 flights, impacting nearly 40% of their capacity. Many streets in Shanghai remained waterlogged, and residents reported significant inconvenience. "I've lived in Shanghai for 10 years, and this is the first time I've experienced such inconvenience from a typhoon," said Hou Lina. The typhoon is forecast to move inland, and Beijing authorities have issued warnings for torrential rain and potential flash floods from Tuesday to Thursday.
