The British Embassy in Saudi Arabia issued a travel advisory urging British nationals to avoid nonessential travel to the cities of Jeddah and Dammam, as well as to all airports across the country, with the exception of the airport in Medina.Meanwhile, the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) instructed American airlines to exercise heightened caution when operating flights to Saudi Arabia.
