'Vamos Argentina': Netanyahu, top Israeli officials show support for Argentina in World Cup final

Ahead of the World Cup final between Spain and Argentina, several Israeli politicians, including Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, expressed support for Argentina. Netanyahu received an official team shirt from Argentine Ambassador to Israel Axel Wahnish, who shared a video on social media. In the video, Argentine President Javier Milei thanked Netanyahu for his support, stating, "I'm really happy to learn that you are supporting Argentina because of our friendship." Netanyahu responded, "Javier, you are a real friend, a great friend. We support you, we support Argentina, in so many ways, including tomorrow." Other Israeli officials, such as Foreign Minister Gideon Sa'ar, UN Ambassador Danny Danon, Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich, National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir, and Transport Minister Miri Regev, also posted messages of support for Argentina, often referencing the strong relationship between the two countries.
