Virginia congressional candidate reposts content promoting Nazi ideology on social media

Shelly Arnoldi, a Libertarian congressional candidate for Virginia's 8th Congressional District, recently reposted videos on social media promoting Nazi ideology. These videos included content featuring Adolf Hitler discussing "Jewish globalization" and defending Nazi book burnings, as well as a video by Holocaust denier Nick Fuentes falsely attributing Nazi actions to a Jewish Marxist effort. This follows previous criticism of Arnoldi for antisemitic rhetoric, including claims of Jewish control over U.S. politics and support for neo-Nazis. The Jewish Community Relations Council of Greater Washington condemned her comments, stating, "Jews have encountered these types of baseless and reprehensible charges for thousands of years, but we do not have the luxury of ignoring or becoming numb to them." Arnoldi, who is challenging incumbent Rep. Don Beyer, denied allegations of Jew-hatred, asserting her focus on national debt and the U.S. Constitution.
