WATCH: IDF completes Ali Taher security zone after destroying Hezbollah tunnels

The IDF has completed its security zone on the Ali al-Taher ridge in southern Lebanon after destroying Hezbollah's underground infrastructure, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Israel Katz announced on Thursday. This operation involved dismantling over two kilometers of underground routes, which included a central command complex for Hezbollah's Badr Unit, weapons storage, and living quarters. The infrastructure, built over two decades with Iranian funding, contained Iranian-made rockets, missiles, UAVs, anti-tank missiles, and explosive devices, and was intended to facilitate an operation to conquer the Galilee. Lebanese reports indicated a magnitude 4.1 earthquake followed the detonation. The IDF will maintain its presence to prevent Hezbollah from reestablishing itself in the area.
