Yossi Musli, head of a crime organization, was arrested by Tel Aviv District's Major Crimes Unit detectives on Tuesday at his home. The arrest is part of an investigation into a series of grenade attacks, arson, and shootings targeting Japanika restaurant branches and other locations in central and northern Israel. These incidents are suspected to be linked to a feud between the Musli and Jarushi crime families. The Tel Aviv Magistrate's Court extended Musli's detention by five days, with Judge Sheli Kotin stating, "Reviewing the investigation materials establishes the suspicion of involvement." Musli claims police had warned him about "organizing with grenades" prior to the attacks. His lawyer, Doron Noy, criticized police conduct, arguing that if they had prior information, they should have taken operational steps. The owner of Japanika, Barak Abramov, who was once close to the Musli family but is now identified with the Jarushi family, provided a statement to investigators, denying any personal feud. Police are continuing their investigation, with more arrests expected.
