🗞️ In-depth summary

During a September 3 conversation with Humza Yousaf at the Bradford Literature Festival, Palestinian Authority envoy to the UK Husam Zomlot asserted that Palestinian history has been “stolen.” Zomlot claimed the Bible is a “Palestinian book” that was “rewritten” against Palestinians, whom he called “the original Christians.” He also recounted telling Queen Elizabeth II that he comes from “Christmas Land”—Bethlehem—and that “Jesus is our gift to you, Your Majesty, and the rest of the world.”
