Border Police at the El-Jib Crossing arrested an illegal resident found hidden inside a large loudspeaker in a vehicle on Saturday night. The vehicle's driver was also arrested, and both were taken for questioning by Border Police and Israeli intelligence. Separately, on Sunday, Israel Police discovered and disarmed three pipe bombs and dozens of stolen 5.56 caliber ammunition near the Ramallah train station. Additionally, police foiled an attempted attack in the Bedouin village of Bir al-Maksur, seizing a Beretta M12 submachine gun and a loaded pistol, and arresting six suspects. Police believe both the Ramallah and Bir al-Maksur incidents are criminal in nature.
