'We will tear you to pieces': Indian general warns Erdogan about pact with Saudi Arabia, Pakistan

Retired Indian Maj.-Gen. Gagan Deep Bakshi warned that a growing alignment between Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan, which he termed a "Sunni NATO," poses a strategic concern for India. He stated, "A Sunni NATO comprising Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan has been established in the Middle East, in Mecca, and that is a serious cause for concern." Bakshi emphasized India's need for Shi'ite Iran as a counterweight to Pakistan, which he called India's "primary security headache." He also asserted that India would not sacrifice its vital economic and geostrategic interests with Iran to accommodate Israel's security concerns, particularly regarding the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran. Bakshi cautioned, "You cannot tell us: Throw Iran away because you are at war with it." He also warned that the Indian Navy could "tear apart any Turkish armada that tries to come to Pakistan's aid" in a conflict.
