Well-known lawyer murdered in apparent targeted killing at Rishon Lezion office

A prominent lawyer was murdered in an apparent targeted attack at his Rishon Lezion office on Tuesday, according to Magen David Adom (MDA). Emergency services found the approximately 50-year-old victim unconscious with a penetrating injury and pronounced him dead at the scene. MDA emergency medical technician Naftali Halberstadt stated, "We had to pronounce him dead at the scene." Police have launched an investigation into the incident, which is being treated as a suspected assassination with a believed criminal motive. Extensive searches for the suspect are underway.
