World Jewish leader meets Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi

The President of the World Jewish Congress in Israel met with exiled Iranian Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi in Paris to discuss the historic connection between their peoples and express hope for a free Iran. The meeting occurred amid recent tensions between the U.S. and Iran. Sylvan Adams, a Canadian-Israeli entrepreneur, presented Pahlavi with two mezuzahs for future embassies in Tehran and Jerusalem. Pahlavi stated, "Iran and Israel are the only two countries on this planet that have a biblical relationship," and emphasized that Iranians are dying for liberty, not for geopolitical issues. Adams affirmed, "The Jewish people entirely support your vision of a free, pluralistic, representative and democratic Iran."
