Yesh Atid’s Michal Shir quits Knesset race as party faces growing wave of exits

Yesh Atid MK Michal Shir announced her departure from the party and will not seek reelection, becoming the latest in a series of lawmakers to exit. Shir stated, "I shared with Yesh Atid chairman and former prime minister, my friend Yair Lapid, that I do not wish to run in the next Knesset election, while expressing my full confidence in him." This follows similar announcements from MKs Karin Elharrar, Debbie Biton, and Tatiana Mazarsky, among others, indicating a significant reshuffling of the party's lineup. A political source commented, "This is a party that was established in 2013... and it is simply ending."
