Yoaz Hendel attacks Ben-Gvir: 'Otzma Yehudit has become Jewish weakness'
Although Hendel did not rule out joining a coalition with Otzma Yehudit and Ben-Gvir, he sharply criticized the ministry's performance and Ben-Gvir’s abilities.
Reservists Party chairman Cmdr. (res.) Yoaz Hendel criticized National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir in an interview with 103FM, stating that Ben-Gvir has failed to restore governance and has contributed to the growth of “Arab autonomy” in the Negev and Galilee. Hendel asserted, "This is Jewish weakness," and claimed Ben-Gvir has "damaged the governance of the State of Israel" over the past three years. He expressed concern that Israel could break up into "Arab autonomies" and ultra-Orthodox "shtetls." Hendel also stated that the next government must exclude ultra-Orthodox and Arab parties, arguing that "when you sit with non-Zionist parties, you cannot make Zionist decisions."
