Young Pennsylvania man arrested over alleged ISIS-inspired mass attack plot targeting synagogues

A 21-year-old Pennsylvania man, Jonathan Hunter Kramer, was arrested by the FBI in Cranberry Township for allegedly plotting an ISIS-inspired mass-casualty attack targeting synagogues and other venues. Kramer was apprehended with a rifle, dozens of knives, and nearly 200 rounds of ammunition. The Jewish Federation of Greater Pittsburgh credited community vigilance and citizen tips for thwarting the plot, with Shawn Brokos stating, "It's those concerned citizens who call in and agree to cooperate and share information that's the key to success, and that's what saved countless lives." Kramer's allegiance to ISIS reportedly dates back to his minor years, and he had previously been in juvenile detention for plotting a mass casualty event and possessing child sex abuse material. Following his release in March, he discussed potential targets and methods for attacks on various platforms.
