Zelensky says Kremlin planning new mass attack on Ukraine

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated on Tuesday that intelligence indicates Russia is preparing a new major attack against Ukraine. Speaking on Telegram after meeting with British Prime Minister Andy Burnham at the UN General Assembly, Zelensky emphasized Ukraine's ongoing efforts with allies to acquire new anti-aircraft defenses. He asserted that easing sanctions on Russia is not an option "when Ukrainians live every day under the threat of missile and drone attacks." Zelensky also discussed the war with US President Donald Trump in New York, including a potential ceasefire on energy targets. He told the Wall Street Journal that Russian President Vladimir Putin is "not winning, it is true. And he is not losing, it is also true," and does not feel compelled to negotiate an end to the conflict.
