During his interrogation, Gergawi admitted that he had searched YouTube for instructions on how to make explosives.
Abdullah Gergawi, 20, from Shaqib al Salam, was indicted Tuesday for an alleged plot to carry out a terrorist attack near the Forum nightclub in Beersheba. Gergawi admitted to investigators that he intended to target dancers, stating, "I wanted to blow up the people dancing there, whether they were Jews or Arabs." He faces charges including contact with a foreign agent and preparing for terrorism. He also admitted to consuming ISIS-related content since 2022, joining ISIS support groups on Signal, and discussing jihad.
