DMFI pauses endorsements of nine House Democrats who voted against aid to Israel

The Democratic Majority for Israel (DMFI) PAC has temporarily paused endorsements for nine House Democrats who voted to end all U.S. aid to Israel. This decision, conveyed in a letter from DMFI PAC President Brian Romick, aims to initiate a dialogue with the lawmakers rather than permanently severing ties. Romick stated, "our hope is that this pause will be temporary and that, through a candid conversation about the path forward, we can resume our endorsement." The affected representatives include Laura Friedman, Josh Harder, Chrissy Houlahan, Glenn Ivey, Kevin Mullin, Richard Neal, Joe Neguse, Brittany Pettersen, and Pat Ryan. This diplomatic approach contrasts with AIPAC's more punitive response to similar votes, as DMFI seeks to maintain relationships and guide members back to the pro-Israel movement.
