Israeli strikes on Thursday killed at least five Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, according to Palestinian health officials. Medics reported two deaths near the Tuffah neighborhood, one in Zeitoun, one at a displaced persons' encampment in western Gaza City, and another in Khan Younis. These incidents contribute to a toll of over 1,100 Palestinians killed by Israeli attacks since an October ceasefire. Conflict monitor ACLED noted that Israeli airstrikes in June increased to over 40, the highest monthly total since the truce, with ACLED Middle East Assistant Research Manager Nasser Khdour stating, "Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing growing domestic pressure to take a tougher security position against Hamas."
