FBI arrests Ohio man accused of threatening to kill Rep. Randy Fine, his family

The FBI has arrested Alex Justin Miller, 26, of Columbus, Ohio, for allegedly sending death threats to US Representative Randy Fine (R-FL) and his family. The US Justice Department announced on Tuesday that Miller was charged with interstate transmission of a threat to injure. The alleged threat, sent via email on August 18, the day of Fine's primary election, stated, "I cannot wait to take a trip to your lovely home and light the whole place on fire and murder you and your entire family in the middle of the night while you sleep." Fine, who was in Florida at the time, thanked law enforcement for their swift action, stating, "There is no place in our political system for this." If convicted, Miller faces a maximum of five years in prison. This marks the fourth individual prosecuted for threatening Fine.
