'I thought I'd been kidnapped': Israeli girl found in Palestinian village after car stolen with her inside

An Israeli Arab family experienced a dramatic incident in the West Bank village of Nabi Ilyas on Monday when their car was stolen with their young daughter inside. The family had stopped for dry cleaning after a vacation when the theft occurred. Troops and police responded, setting up roadblocks amid fears of an abduction. Approximately 20 minutes later, the girl was found unharmed in Nabi Ilyas after the thieves ordered her out of the vehicle and continued driving. The girl, in shock, stated, "I thought I had been kidnapped." Her father recounted that he had left the car for only seconds when it was stolen. The thieves are believed to have fled to the nearby village of Azzun.
