Israel Bonds Holds LA Events, 2026 Milken Scholars Include Local Jewish Students

Israel Bonds recently hosted two Young Investors events in Los Angeles to engage a new generation of Jewish professionals in supporting Israel. On June 9, an event featured David Brog of the Maccabee Task Force, who discussed rising antisemitism on college campuses, and Stuart Garawitz of Israel Bonds, who highlighted the organization's growth and over $7.7 billion secured since October 7, 2023. Garawitz stated, "Every bond purchased...is a direct statement of confidence in Israel’s economy and its people." A June 22 event included Ariel Torbati of Canon Capital, who presented on Israel's growing venture market. These gatherings aim to foster advocacy and investment in Israel among young Jewish professionals.

Separately, two Jewish students from Milken Community School, Noa Jacoby and Gabrielle Kadouri, were named 2026 Milken Scholars. They are among ten Los Angeles County students receiving $10,000 awards for academic excellence, extracurriculars, and community service. The Milken Scholars program, established in 1989, provides financial awards and lifelong support for college and career development. Mike Milken noted, "The members of the Milken Scholars Class of 2026 remind us that the future belongs to those who never stop learning."
