An Israeli mother and son narrowly escaped an attempted lynching in Jenin on Thursday after their navigation app mistakenly directed them into the city. Dozens of Arabs surrounded their vehicle, throwing stones, attempting to open doors, and trying to stop the car. The mother recounted, "Dozens of Arabs tried to open the doors, threw stones at us and tried to stop us." They contacted the Samaria Regional Council security hotline, which guided them to safety. While unharmed, their vehicle sustained significant damage. Samaria Regional Council head Yossi Dagan called for action against "the terrorist snake in Jenin itself." The IDF Spokesperson's Unit confirmed the incident, stating that the civilians were attacked by "terrorists, who threw a brick at them," and reminded that "Entry into Area A is prohibited and dangerous for Israelis."
