Last thing Israel needs is flashpoint in Judea and Samaria, Rubio says

U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated on Wednesday that the United States does not "want to see additional flashpoints" in Judea and Samaria, given the existing regional instability. Speaking on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly in New York City, Rubio emphasized that "the last thing this region needs is an additional flashpoint," and that "the president really doesn’t think the world right now needs a West Bank crisis." He also addressed Iran, asserting that the U.S. is committed to preventing Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons and that there is strong regional consensus that "Iran is a malign force in the region." Rubio concluded by stating that Iran must choose whether "they want to be a country or do they want to be a revolution?"
