Netanyahu's coalition falls to 48 seats as Likud drops behind Eisenkot's Yashar once more – poll

A recent Maariv poll indicates that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's coalition has dropped to 48 Knesset seats, with Likud falling to 21 mandates, two fewer than Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar party, which now holds 23. This decline is attributed to Likud's internal struggles and ongoing clashes in the West Bank. The Zionist opposition bloc, with 57 seats, could form a majority with Zionist Home-The Reservists, reaching 61 seats. The poll also found that Eisenkot has a double-digit lead over Netanyahu in public preference for prime minister, with 49% supporting Eisenkot compared to 38% for Netanyahu. Additionally, 64% of Israelis believe the country should strike Iran if an immediate threat arises, even without US approval.
