Spanish MEP appeals to Netanyahu to back Spain's sovereignty amid Ceuta border crisis

The influx overwhelmed Ceuta, leading to widespread closures and security concerns, though no antisemitic incidents were reported by the local Jewish community. The crisis also sparked a diplomatic spat when Israel's UN Ambassador Danny Danon criticized Spain's response, leading to a swift disavowal from Israel's chargé d'affaires in Spain. Girauta stated, "That is the political ammunition they are giving Israel's enemies in Spain."
