Three Israeli farm companies advertise exports from occupied West Bank to Spain, defying settlement products ban

Three Israeli agricultural companies—Field Produce Marketing, Hadiklaim, and Agrifood Marketing—are reportedly exporting dates and nuts from Israeli settlements in the occupied West Bank to Spain, despite a Spanish ban under Royal Decree-Law 10/2025. An investigation by CIDSE and Who Profits, published by EUobserver and verified by Público, found these companies advertise their presence in the Spanish market. This raises questions about enforcement of the ban, which aligns with an ICJ advisory opinion urging states not to recognize or cooperate with illegally occupied territories. CIDSE researcher Dorien Vanden Boer stated agriculture is a strategy Israel uses "to dispossess Palestinians of their land and expel them." While major Spanish supermarkets deny stocking goods from occupied territories, the Spanish Tax Administration Agency could not provide information on sanctions due to data decentralization. The Israeli companies declined to comment.
