US intercepts Iranian launches to Jordan, interceptors also sent from Israel

Sirens were activated in Jordan, and residents in Eilat reported hearing explosions. The IDF stated, "It is possible that as a result of the fire, there will be spillover into Israeli territory," leading to potential alerts in southern Israel. Interceptor fragments fell in northern Eilat, but no injuries were reported. Jordanian officials denied earlier U.S. Embassy reports of evacuations at Aqaba International Airport and seaport, stating operations were normal. This incident follows a U.S. statement on Saturday night confirming two soldiers were killed in an Iranian attack in Jordan, marking the first U.S. military fatalities since recent fighting resumed.
