Yashar! emerges as largest party, Eisenkot preferred for PM if elections held today – poll

A Channel 12 poll, conducted by the Midgam Institute and iPanel, indicates that Gadi Eisenkot's Yashar! party would be the largest faction if Israeli elections were held today, securing 24 seats. Eisenkot also remains the preferred candidate for prime minister over Benjamin Netanyahu, with 43% support compared to Netanyahu's 37%. The poll, reported by Amit Segal, shows the Zionist opposition bloc with 59 seats and the current coalition parties with 51. Most opposition voters (44%) would prefer forming a government with external support from an Arab party if their bloc doesn't achieve a majority, while 28% would favor new elections. Coalition voters expressed satisfaction with agreements between Netanyahu and Haredi parties, with 59% satisfied.
