2 Palestinians killed by Israeli occupiers in West Bank village

Two Palestinians, Awda Abdul Rahim Awda Farakhna (53) and Ahmed Adel Rashid Abu Mukh (26), were killed by Israeli gunfire during an attack late Sunday in the village of Deir Jarir near Ramallah in the occupied West Bank. The Palestinian Health Ministry identified the victims, while the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported transporting a critically injured man with an abdominal gunshot wound and another with a knee injury. The official Palestinian news agency, Wafa, noted a surge in attacks by Israeli occupiers against Palestinians and their property in the Ramallah and Al-Bireh governorate, including physical assaults and arson, often under Israeli army protection. Since October 2023, Israeli army and occupier attacks in the West Bank have reportedly killed at least 1,181 Palestinians, injured 13,000, and arrested nearly 24,000, according to Palestinian figures.
