Eight Muslim countries condemn mass Israeli raid on Al-Aqsa

Eight Muslim countries, including Qatar, the UAE, Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, Indonesia, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia, have condemned recent Israeli settler incursions at Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque as "illegal and extremist acts." In a joint statement, their foreign ministers stressed that these actions are a "flagrant violation of international law" and the historic status quo, warning that they "fuel hatred and extremism." They urged recognition of Jordan's custodianship and rejected Israel's claims over East Jerusalem. This condemnation follows a mass raid on Al-Aqsa by thousands of ultranationalist Israelis, including prominent ministers and lawmakers, after Israeli forces barred many Palestinians from accessing the mosque for prayers.
