IDF chief: Israel ready to 'immediately' resume fighting

IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir stated on Sunday that Israel is prepared to "immediately resume combat" as it closely monitors regional tensions, particularly developments in Iran. This follows a ballistic missile launch targeting Jordan's Aqaba area, which Israel's Aerial Defense Array helped intercept. Zamir affirmed, "We are prepared to immediately resume combat and will act with great determination against anyone who harms us." He also acknowledged the ongoing fight against terrorism in Judea and Samaria, crediting troops for a significant reduction in attacks, while warning that nationalist crime undermines security and would be combated in cooperation with other agencies.
