Iran claims coordinated attacks on US military sites in Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain

Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) claimed responsibility for coordinated attacks on US military sites in Kuwait, Jordan, and Bahrain on Saturday morning. In Kuwait, drones targeted US ammunition stores and communication assets at Ali Al Salem Air Base, causing a fire at a power generation and water desalination plant and injuring firefighters. The IRGC warned that countries hosting US forces should expect "corresponding responses" if their territory is used for attacks on Iran. In Jordan, the IRGC claimed strikes on Muwaffaq Salti Air Base and Al-Azraq Base; Jordanian forces intercepted ten ballistic missiles and four drones, reporting no casualties or damage. The IRGC also claimed an earlier attack in Bahrain at Sheikh Isa Air Base and the Batelco intelligence data center, where sirens sounded multiple times.
