Joseph J. Sitt, chairman and CEO of Thor Equities, proposes establishing an "Abraham Organization" with a physical headquarters in Jerusalem to institutionalize the Abraham Accords. For two decades, Sitt has funded the restoration of Jewish graves and ancient synagogues across the Middle East, fostering relationships with leaders in countries like Syria, Algeria, Egypt, Lebanon, and Turkey. He envisions a "Brussels-like headquarters of an alliance organization, an Abraham Accords organization, that's that unifier in the Middle East and be based in Jerusalem." Sitt, who has close ties with Emirati officials, believes his independent position, free from political affiliations, makes him suitable to lead this initiative. He suggests the Israeli government donate a plot of land in Jerusalem for the headquarters, emphasizing that the organization should serve the Middle East region, with American involvement eventually stepping back to allow regional self-reliance.
