Czech foreign minister says Prague will continue political support for Israel

Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka affirmed Prague's continued political support for Israel, including at the European level, and advocated for stronger economic ties between the two nations. Speaking at the Czech-Israeli Business Forum alongside Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar, Macinka emphasized strengthening bilateral economic relations. He stated the forum aimed to foster new business contacts and achieve “concrete results” through various collaborations. Key areas identified for future cooperation include defense, cybersecurity, digital technologies, healthcare, biotechnology, transport, and logistics. Macinka also highlighted that Czech companies should be viewed as equal partners and investors, not just suppliers.
