Israel Navy delegation attends US 250th independence events

An Israel Navy delegation, led by Deputy Chief R.-Adm. Guy Levy, attended events marking 250 years of US independence, the IDF confirmed. The delegation met with senior US Navy officials, including Secretary of the Navy Hung Cao and Chief of Naval Operations Admiral Daryl Caudle, to "build and advance operational dialogue" and strengthen partnerships. They also met with naval officials from numerous other countries, such as Germany, India, and Japan, which "contributed to deepening ties and strengthening cooperation." The visit also aimed to promote the navies' cadet exchange program. The IDF stated that the visit "highlighted the deep and long-standing partnership between the Israel Navy and US Navy, based on shared values, professional cooperation, and a mutual commitment to maintaining maritime security stability in the region."
