Three Israelis wounded in Samaria shooting attack

An Israeli man was killed and two others wounded in a shooting attack near Havat Gilad in Samaria on Friday morning. The attack occurred when a group of Israeli hikers was targeted by Palestinians. Magen David Adom paramedics pronounced a man in his 30s dead, and evacuated two other men, one in serious condition and another in moderate condition, by helicopter. The Israel Defense Forces are searching for the assailants, establishing roadblocks, and have launched counterterrorism operations in nearby Nablus. This incident follows two separate stabbing attacks in northern Samaria the previous day, which resulted in two terrorists being killed by Israeli forces. Binyamin Regional Council head Yisrael Gantz stated, "The ground is burning—literally," describing the recent attacks and suspected arson incidents as part of "one campaign" against Israel and calling for a broad operation against terrorist strongholds.
