Huckabee warns of 'biblical ignorance' as he defends conservative support for Israel

Former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, also an ordained Baptist minister, attributes growing conservative skepticism toward the U.S.-Israel relationship to "biblical ignorance" and a misunderstanding of "America First." Speaking to Fox News Digital ahead of the U.S. Israel Education Association's 15th anniversary, Huckabee argued that support for Israel aligns with U.S. interests and Christian convictions. He stated, "When I look at the things on the right what I see is that there's biblical ignorance." He also clarified that "America First has never meant America only," emphasizing that U.S. interests extend beyond its borders, particularly in confronting threats like Iran, which he noted has consistently called for "death to America" for decades.
