Ex-Trump campaign chief linked to Israel-backed campaign seeking MAGA support in Iran war -report

Brad Parscale, former campaign manager for US President Donald Trump, has been linked to an Israel-backed social media campaign aimed at garnering MAGA support for an Iran war, according to a Time Magazine report. After a US-Iran ceasefire was agreed on June 17, online influencers associated with the MAGA movement reportedly denounced it, with many posts appearing simultaneously and using similar language. A US official allegedly traced these posts back to Parscale.

"I have never funded, organized, or participated in any effort to undermine President Trump - ever - including his Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) or ceasefire proposal," Parscale told Time.

In September, Parscale's firm, Clock Tower X, was hired by Havas to conduct a digital campaign for Israel, producing 100 pieces of content monthly, 80% targeting Gen Z audiences across various platforms. The campaign, publicly framed as an effort to combat antisemitism, also aimed to prevent young conservatives from turning against Israel. Israel reportedly paid Clock Tower X $1.5 million per month. An Israeli official expressed frustration, stating, "We are p***ed at Brad Parscale. He was supposed to make things better. We have paid him lots of money. But what did he do with it? Things have only gotten worse."
